I was wandering around Brighton a few weeks ago doing research for the book I am currently illustrating - Witches, Hats and all that by Aprill Harper. One book I picked up at a local charity shop was called Lester and the Unusual pet which was written and drawn by Quentin Blake, one of the greatest children's illustrators of all time. It was printed and published in 1975 (My birth year).
